You said it

Was just surfing the net,when I came across these..
Satire at its best!

"I had to create this mythical individual in a striped coat, with a bushy moustache, a bald head with a white wisp of hair at the back, a bulbous nose on which perched a pair of glasses, and thick black eyebrows permanently raised, expressing bewilderment. He voyages through life with quiet amusement, at no time uttering a word, looking at the ironies, paradoxes and contradictions in the human situation."

So True..:)

The Paradox of Our Age

We have bigger houses but smaller families;
more conveniences, but less time;
We have more degrees, but less sense;
more knowledge, but less judgement;
more experts, but more problems;
more medicines, but less healthiness;
We’ve been all the way to the moon and back,
but have trouble crossing the street to meet
the new neighbor.
We’ve built more computers to hold more
information to produce more copies than ever,
but have less communications;
We have become long on quantity,
but short on quality.
These times are times of fast foods;
but slow digestion;
Tall man but short character;
Steep profits but shallow relationships.
It is time when there is much in the window,
but nothing in the room.

Rejected,Once Again!

"Chai" she said as she timidly kept the bright white china bone cups with light green flowers painted on them on the glass table.

Her face shone with the dreams of being the perfect bride for a perfect groom.

"Idhar Baitho" said a lady with a wheatish complexion who had wrinkles of forty.

The girl with a finished facial texture walked from the corner of the room to her side,carefully taking each step,in the beautiful Banarasi saree which simply adorned her perfect shaped body.

"Kaisi ho?"asked the lady,sounding fully formal.

"Achi hoon,aunty." replied the girl.

"Ghar ke kaam aate hai?Khana banana?"asked she.

"Ha aunty,sab kaam aate hai" replied the girl,who with each reply,felt that,at least this time she won't  be rejected.

"Kaha kaam karti ho?"

"Infosys me,aunty"

"Ha..Ha..Thik hai..Mera beta Microsoft mai hai!"she said in an emphasized voice.

"Lijiye na kuch.."said the daughter's mother pointing towards the deep fried samosas.She was then, experiencing the worst feeling ever,but knew,that she was helpless.

"Nahi..Nahi..Chalo mein chalti hoon"and she began to walk towards the door.

"Kya hua?"

"Kuch nahi.."

"Toh yeh rishta?"

"Nahi..Ladki thodi saavli hai.. Humein yeh rishta manzoor nahi" and she walked out.

There stood the girl,once again with her dreams shattered!

I pity all those people,who fail to see the inner beauty and rather judge the people based on their complexion!

HER Dream...

"I dream of being the president one day!" said SHE.
"President of the 'Happy Club'?" ridiculed another voice as SHE for the first time let out her dream in front of someone.
"The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams."thought SHE.

**There are always people who'll first laugh at your dreams,make every possible attempt so that you dont reach there and when you finally prove them wrong,they'll be the ones standing in the front rows hoping to see their photographs with you,in the next daily mail!

Out I Live,Yet I Die

Little cold hands,
waiting for someone..
Someone who could pick her up from the garbage bin,
Someone who could hug her and kiss her tender pink cheeks.
Little did she know,
how cruel this outer world was.
For it was only the first time someone had betrayed her.
Someone who nurtured her for 9 long months,
someone who promised to adore her forever.
The same someone,snatched from her,her beautiful childhood days!
